He was co founder of The Allen Collins Band and producer
played in the rossington-collins band and wrote songs as ''pinebox''Dont misunderstand me,and Opportunity.
Barry was a session player on Lynyrd Skynyrds ''street survivors'' '' gimme back my bullets'' '' nuthin fancy''
Ed King was asked one time why he didnt continue to play in Allen and Garys bands
His response was ''if i did we would not have got to hear Barry Harwoods great guitar work.
Ill buy this cd not so much for barrys voice but to hear this guy play anything with strings is a joy to listen to.
