• Another artist has put out a cd on a indie label this month.
Barry Lee Harwood ''The Southern Part Of Heaven'' can be fetched at CD Baby. Barry was and still is a great reminder of why ''southern rock'' was so influential at its peak.

He was co founder of The Allen Collins Band and producer played in the Rossington-Collins band and wrote songs as ''Pinebox''Don't Misunderstand Me and Opportunity.
Barry was a session player on Lynyrd Skynyrd's ''Street Survivors'', ''Gimme Back My Bullets'', ''Nuthin Fancy''.

Ed King was asked one time why he didn't continue to play in Allen and Gary's bands, his response was ''if I did we would not have got to hear Barry Harwood's great guitar work.

Ill buy this cd not so much for Barrys voice but to hear this guy play anything with strings is a joy to listen to.

• what I like most about your album-- is the collection of songs and the order they are in and how it all "fits" together as ONE. -- "I'm working on my story...".

• Claudia left us a CD on the way through Charlotte and we loved it! Great job!

Mom says to tell you she thought it was great. She has been involved in music all her life and she was impressed with the range of work.

I know of several people I want to give one to so I'll be visiting CD Baby.

Good luck and maybe we'll get to see you soon.

• I LOOOOOOOVED IT, MAN! I'm getting a copy of it. Just love the slide playing and the lyrics! And your voice sounds so right for those songs. No doubt you're playing the music you love.... Congratulations, Barry. You did it again!
